November 2014 recap

Needless to say I took a pretty big break from writing on this blog.  It's now been 2 1/2 months since my last post and I have lots of catching up to do.  So I will start with the rest of November for now.

We took our Christmas pictures the weekend after we got back from Disneyland and it was unusually cold but we got the pics done at Bull Creek.

On Thanksgiving Day we had lunch at our house with a Dickey's fried turkey and sides that Mom and I made.  We relaxed and watched football for most of the day.  The next day we left for Dallas - so nice that we had a 4 day weekend.
After we relaxed and visited with Mom, Dad, and Subin we met Sunil, Julie, Christian, and the Jacobs at Gaylord where we took pics and walked around looking at all the Christmas decorations.  They do such a great job decorating the hotel.
The next day we had a huge Thanksgiving feast at Sunil's house and it was the first Thanksgiving we've had with Subin in a long time.  So nice to know that he's finally in Dallas to stay.
We ended up leaving Sat. night since we knew Sun. morning would be horrendous for traffic.

The next day Joshua had his very first golf tournament at TeraVista with Dad as his caddie.   We were so proud of him; he was so calm as Dad would discuss each drive and their strategy.  Joshua was completely in his element.  He was really enjoying himself during the 9 hole tournament.  Joshua played against a 6 year old girl in the last group so we walked into the clubhouse as they were finishing the award ceremony.   Joshua ended up getting 5th place in his age division!!  He was so happy when they put the medal around his neck.   He thought he won the whole tournament.  It was so cute!  He shouldn't have even been allowed to be in the tournament since qualifying age was 6 and he's only 4.  So so proud of him.

Here are some pics of November 2014:
